PDFs were designed to be printed, not edited, but small changes are common: a wrong date on a letter, a typo in a report, an outdated address on a form. Frequently asked questions
Will the change be visible?
Visually, in most documents, no. The replacement uses a standard PDF font, so on unusual fonts you may notice a slight difference.
Can it edit text in a scanned PDF?
Not in place — a scan has no text layer. Use OCR PDF to make it searchable, or cover the area and add new text.
Is the old text really gone?
No. It is hidden under a page-colored box. To remove information permanently, use the Redact tool.
